The Albany / Liverpool, UK / PARKSAFE 583
Parksafe for the Luxury Albany Apartments in Liverpool providing 84 car park places.
The free-standing steel parking tower braces the landmarked street-side façade, where cars exit the building. A total of 84 parking places are "hidden" behind this and used for the renovated offices and apartments in the Albany building, originally erected close to the docks in the financial district in 1858. Cars are parked automatically behind the façade. The steel structure has 10 levels, with 3 bays arranged behind each other on each level. Pallets are used to support the cars and the possibility of damage occurring is ruled out entirely. An impressive number of parking places were created between the buildings in a niche approximately 10 meters wide and 18 meters long. The animation shows how the system works.
